became a steakhouse. |

Used to work at Valsan House (now demolished) on the
roundabout. A good pub, well kept beer, nice food and Charlie Drakes son
worked behind the bar. The landlord drove a Range Rover (logo on bonnet
changed to HANG OVER) and very active in organising pub outings to horse
racing meets etc. |
