The Forum was situated in the Whitgift Shopping Centre. It was built on two levels and had a hexagonal or octagonal design. There was a travelator which ran up to it from the ground floor and it served food during the day and every Saturday afternoon was usually full of men who'd left their wives to do the shopping! It shut when the centre shut at 6pm sharp. It was demolished in the 1990s when the centre was redeveloped.
