The Suffolk Hunt was situated at 40 Eastgate Street. I remember it as very much a wet sales traditional boozer from my time in Bury St Edmunds in the late 1980s with a long standing licensee. The last night it was open was New Year's Eve 1989 and the building was then converted for  use as  offices.
