The Ram

The Ram was situated on Eastgate Street. Demolished in 1971, it was described as "a particularly valuable building, characterful grey regency front, with good cornice, masking an older timber-framed house; now derelict (1970) the animal figure must remain" . This was broken up when the building was demolished.
