Deborah Whitehurtst 1960  I was born in this pub on 7th. February 1960. My Mom and Dad were the Licensees Tony and Betty Link. There was snow on the ground and my Grandfather who shared the same birthday was fetched off the golf course to be at the pub. A few days later, due to a chest infection I was christened in the bar with the local vicar as I couldn't go to the Church.
