Jim Underwood	1980s	I’m from Washington State and found myself living in the area for several years in th eighties. I became good friends with John Smith the landlord at the time. John was a rare find in this world, extremely intelligent, a great host! The Monk had great atmosphere, full of some characters that I shall never forget....:)
