Jerningham Arms

The Jerningham Arms was situated on Park Street. Built in 1705 as a Coaching Inn on one leg of the London to Holyhead route, this closed in the late 1990s/early 2000s. The main building (the second cream-coloured frontage in the picture) was converted to apartments soon after, and further flats were built on the car park of the pub a few years after that (the third cream-coloured frontage, and the redbrick building beyond)
