Review from tantallon.org.uk: |
Typical 1960s estate pub. Stripped
pine flooring and the yellow lumpy wallcovering we see in the Fir Tree on
Iffley Road. Nothing on cask. A few middle-aged folk at the bar. The Friars
Bitter (chilled keg beer) was
a bit like lemonade. (1998-09-12)
Ed Turner adds:
The Fox was friendly when I went, and quite busy on a Sunday afternoon. Most
of the punters were in their forties. (2001-04-24) |
