The Queen Hotel was situated on the corner of Alfreton Road and Forest Road West.
The Queen Hotel had been converted to a convenience store the last time I was in England. There is a painting of a queen on the frontage corner that I don't recall when I lived there from 1969 to 1975. It was at the time owned by my parents, John and Norma Cox.
