The Unity Inn was situated at 82 Peas Hill Road. We lived there, and my father owned it until the clearances in 1970. I remember a murder just outside the front door in the late 1960s. I also went to school (West Bridgford High) with Tom Smith whose father owned the Craven Arms round the corner, Toms father killed his wife there for adultery.
