The Crown Inn was situated at the corner of Arkwright Street and Crocus Street.

This pub has now been demolished to make way for the new tram line.

I started work as a barmaid at the Crown Inn on Crocus Street, The Meadows in 1980. In 1990 I became the licensee. I was also a member of the LVA.
