Served as an unofficial youth club annexe from St
Edmund's & used by Rev Jack Johnson. My main recollections are helping
out in my student years; chatting with the erudite 'Sam' or Arthur
Foster, the Landlord. Meeting Oak Room regulars like Gladys & John,
Ernie who did the 'dobbers' Celebrated Mansfield Town FC's West Ham Cup
win of Feb '69 in there.A 1st Division Ref was a regular |
