Emperor Hadrian

The Emperor Hadrian was situated at Bristol Drive, Battle Hill, Wallsend. This was demolished as part of a much bigger regeneration scheme and it's demise shortly followed that of the Battle Hill Social Club and a service station that occupied the same site. I can't remember the time of demolition unfortunately, though assuming that the historical imagery on Google Earth is correctly recorded, it was sometime between summer 2006 and summer 2008 (albeit that my memory is pretty vague on this one, that sort of timeframe would fit).

I was at a college called Sentec . New experience after school which also led to many lunch time walk down to the Emperor Hadrian for fluid lunch and game of darts . Busy pub and very friendly full of colourful characters. Great memories!
