Shipmans was situated at 12 The Drapery. Once known as The White Hart, this narrow building became a pub in the late 1700s. Closed in 2014, it was said to have been haunted by former landlord Harry Franklin who committed suicide on the premises in the early years of the 20th Century. The premises was purchased by the McManus Pub Company in 2015, but remains closed.
Reopened in 2020.
