The Pluto was situated on Gainsborough Road.
It was originally opened to commemorate the contribution made
by Stewarts and Lloyds Steel Works in making the PLUTO Project [Pipe Line

Interested in locating the couple who managed the Pluto in late 60s or
early 70s. They were temporarily located at the Queens Head, Dunstable,
Beds (a Whitbread pub) in about 1970 to provide holiday cover for the
manager Mick Cassidy and his wife. They had a couple of small children
at this time. I believe that were Scots. |
