The Woolpack was situated at 2 Muspole Street. This grade-II listed pub closed in 2008 and was also known as The Woolpack Yard.

Public House. Late C18 with C20 extension and outbuildings to right-side. Rendered. Pantile roof. 3 storeys. 5 bays. Central 2-leaf door in single-storey canted bay. Blocked door to right of bay. Ona sash window and one casement at ground floor. Sash windows at first floor with glazing bars and segmental arches. 4 casement windows and one smaller casement at 2nd floor. Overhanging eaves supported on wrought-iron brackets.
