The Man On The Moon was situated on Reepham Road. This pub closed in the early 1980s. It was converted into a doctors surgery and remains so.

This was called The Man ON The Moon because of the time when it was built / opened. I believe it was a name that was unique in the UK whereas there have been lots of pubs called 'The Man In The Moon'.
