The Admiral Seymour was situated at 22-25 Salisbury
Road. This pub closed in 2008 and has now been converted into flats. |
|
The Seymour as I knew it was an elegant '30's
style pub. That takes in 2 houses on both sides of the above photo. Showing
what a busy place it was. In 1880's it was a Steward and Patterson (from
Norwich) pub. Bought by Watneys in the 1960's. The lounge was to the right
as you look at it. A big, busy pub. with an illuminated neon shape of an
admiral on the black panel on the corner. |
