The Queen was situated at 2 Broad Street. I lived there until about 1948 as my father was the licencee. I suspect that this building, which still exists, may have an interesting history. I now realise that the rear area must have been a stable yard and the building there must have been stables. Maybe it once operated local coach services . Closed in the 1960s.
