The Norland Arms was situated at 12 Addison
Avenue. This Taylor Walker pub closed c1991 and is now in retail use. |

I remember the Norland Arms circa
1964/5… where.. having saved a bit we would go and have a pint… and even
drinking at the bar where Peter O’Toole and Richard Harris even treated us
one night to a drink! Good vibes in those days! |

This pub is mentioned in James Curtis’s 1937
novel ‘There Ain’t No Justice’. The hero, Tommy Mutch’s father goes there
with his pigeon fancier mates. |
