I have my Great Uncle Charles Mayes listed on the 1911 census as living here
and being a Licensed Victualler / Manager at this address. At the time he
had his wife Annie, sons Arthur and Sidney and daughter Edith living with
him. Plus two servants; Emily Sharming and Agnes Lewis (these two may have
been bar maids) |
