The Royal Oak was situated at 162 Deptford High Street. This pub has now been converted into a restaurant and flats. Publican in 1891 was Henry Sweeting.
 
Between 1861 and 1868, The Royal Oak at Deptford was the first home of the Royal Oak Masonic Lodge, No. 871, under the United Grand Lodge of England.
