I was a member of the Zac Lawrence
quartet. We were resident at the Kings Arms (Now demolished). We worked
7 nights and Sunday lunch all year round. My wage was £24 per week.
Great characters would do a 'turn' like comedian Ray Martine. I went
back home in'66 to the north of England to pursue a career in the up and
coming cabaret club scene. |

where Charlie and Eileen. |
