The Bell

The Bell was situated at 57 Webber Street. This pub closed in 2011, was demolished in May 2012 (see photo below) and is to be replaced by flats (bottom photos).
A new office building with flats above has now been built on this site.

Stellar Andrews 1990/1994 I did my NVQ and my BII while working at The Bell under the management of Dave and Chrissy Leading to becoming the licensee. It was very much run by the locals,(or so they thought). Had a family vibe. Everyone was made welcome,It was a fantastic pub. Full of joy and a few tears. It really was the last of London’s community pubs. I had a great time. We often had visits from Simon Hughs MP The Bell always held a special place for me.
