I worked behind the bar when I was
16 going on 17. There was a nice husband and wife running the place.
Really nice friendly little pub. I remember you could look straight down
Sandy hill rd from behind the bar through the open door. Two proper old
gentlemen would come in and tell me stories about the FIRST WORLD WAR!
Can you imagine, me a 16 year old! Will always remember them two old
boys. One used to drink in there when he was a lad! |
