The Norfolk Arms was situated at 1 Sandison Street. This pub has now been demolished.

The Norfolk Arms was also locally know as 'The Nigglers'. Landlords Robert 'Bob' Curtis and Roberta 'Gladys' Curtis took over some time around the 2nd World War. The pub itself wasn't bombed but it had all it's windows blown out when a bomb landed on the houses opposite. They had a piano and microphone in the pub and used to hold talent competitions.
