The Denman Arms was situated at 86 Denman Road. This pub is now in residential use.

I was born in the house next door to The Denman Arms which stood on the south west corner of the junction of Lyndhurst Grove and Denman Road, Peckham, SE London. I never remember hearing any late night noise in my bedroom which was just the other side of a wall from the pub. The old man who lived downstairs in my house used to take a 2 pint glass jug into the off license every night to have it filled with beer. The only publican I knew was a Mr Tom Nugent. He was still there when I moved away in 1953.
