The Royal Oak was situated at 78 Fitzalan Street. This pub closed in 2013.

This pub has now reopened as The Oxymoron following a refurbishment.

It seems the pub did not reopen since closing In March 2020. Planning application submitted in May 2021 for change of use to a community centre.
