The Cricketers was situated at 30 Inverness Street. This pub closed on 18th January 2018. It existed by the 19th century but was rebuilt in the 1950s, possibly as the result of bomb damage. For the last 30-odd years of its life it was known as the Good Mixer, one of the area's best-known live music venues, hosting the likes of Blur; local resident Amy Winehouse was a regular visitor.

Now reopened as The Good Mixer.
