Old Grange Tavern

The Old Grange Tavern was situated at 151 Neasden Lane. This pub closed in 2006 and was previously called The Old Spotted Dog. Now demolished and replaced by residential apartments.

A friend of mine lived in Neasden, I went to the Spotted Dog many times with him and always found it most enjoyable. The place had a real ambience. An absolutely awesome building, tudor decor, old world furnishings. In 1976-77, Rod Stewart lived in the area and the Spotted Dog was his local. I'm told he visited there approx. once a week and was very friendly and happy to mix with the regulars.
