Diane Dodds	2008/2009	My husband Vic was a regular there and friendly with the landlord's Danny and Noreen. When Vic died we stayed with them for a couple of days and had his wake from The Magnet. They were extremely kind and the people who frequented the pub and knew Vic were also very kind to us, especially a lady who I think was called Jackie, not sure such a long time ago, but she took me to The Whttington to have an xray when I thought I had broken my foot.
