The Globe was situated at 202 Fore Street.

I used to work in there (upstairs) mid 1980s. 1985 1986 must be.The Regal Rooms dance hall was being demolished across the road.I remember business really really picking up with all the workmen off the building site coming in.Landlord was most pleased. Later on there was a massive job done with the north circular dual carriageway and the carpet shop next to the pub went, then the pub itself. Not many fancied a pint one step away from a dual carriageway.
