The Angel was situated at 181 Fore Street. This pub was demolished c1967 when the Silver Street / Angel Road junction was expanded as part of the North Circular Road.

John Maskell 1964 The Angel was a great venue for pop groups in the 60's. I was a vocalist with a group called "Group 004 + 1" and we appeared there in the first quarter of 1964. It was a very busy pub with a great atmosphere and a meeting place to go on from.
