The Porters Lodge was situated at 17 Arthur Street. This pub closed in 2014 and was subsequently demolished (see site below). The Lodge was built in the eighties and like several City pubs from that era was not a separate building but a ground floor and/or basement bar that was part of a larger development. It was a Charrington's pub and was a darts pub with eight dartboards.
