Sir Paul Pindar

The Sir Paul Pindar was situated at 14 Bishopsgate Arcade, closing in 2010.

With a vintage name, the Sir Paul Pindar at least carries forward a tradition of the public house in the area of Bishopsgate, sadly, that's about all it does. The entrance stand high on the Bishopsgate arcade, plenty of glass and brass to be seen. The bar is straight in front as you enter. Various seating arrangements are to the right and left of the entrance. The façade of the original Sir Paul Pindar's house, which was removed in 1891 after some time as a public house is now in the new Medieval and Renaissance Galleries at the V&A, it is an outstanding survival of a London timber-framed house built before the Great Fire of 1666.

This pub was later renamed The First & Last and is now in use as an All Bar One.
