The Kings Head was situated at 49 Chiswell Street, on the north-west corner of the former Whitbread Brewery which is now used as a conference and events centre .This pub closed in 2008 and appears to be used for the storage of building materials.. Previously known as The Brewery Tap.
This pub has now reopened as The Jugged Hare.

Name Dates Comments Peter Evans Early 1970s Customer, spent many evenings with my dad in this pub. As it was next door to the brewery you could always guarantee a great pint. I also delivered their fruit & veg as I worked on a nearby greengrocers stall. Richard Doney 1996 Publican : Bill Muir. I worked & lived at this pub for 6 months in the summer of 1996, even served Kevin Spacey one evening.
