The Hope was situated at 94 Cowcross Street. This pub closed in July 2016. It was one of the pubs that had a licence to open early (6 or 6:30 am) for market traders at Smithfield Market so the decline in trade at the Market lead to a decline in the Hope's trade and its eventual closure. A small basic pub with a restaurant above.
Now refurbished and reopened.
