Camden Arms

The Camden Arms was situated at 70 Field Road. This pub was demolished in 2008 and replaced by the flats in the photo below.

I worked in the bar at the Camden Arms when I was a student 1980/81. The landlord was Paddy Tynan from Co.Cavan in Ireland and his cellarman was another Irish chap called Alan – really nice blokes. A great east end boozer with loyal regulars.

Plunkett McNally 1963 Barman. Landlord was Paddy Tynan.
Bob Daniel 1980-1981 I worked part time here while a student. Loved it, great pub, great customers and the landlord Paddy was a 1st class gentleman.
