The Woodman

The Woodman was situated on Bury Road. This pub was present by 1877 when the
landlord John Wickes was fined One Pound Nineteen Shillings for serving his
customers short measure. The pub disappeared from maps in the early 20th
century so presumably closed about that time. There is now no trace of the
pub apart from a Woodman Lane off Bury Road. |
