Weavers Arms

The Weavers Arms was situated at 100 Roman Road. This was a Taylor Walker Brewery pub, present by 1850.  It was rebuilt after the Second World War into the ground floor of a block of flats.  In its later years it was run by Maple Leaf Inns, but it closed in 1994 and was converted for use as council offices.  More recently a further conversion has seen the premises now used as a mosque and Islamic cultural centre.
