The British Carman was situated at 82 Cleveland Street. I don't know when the pub closed but I worked in the premises which was used as a factory for a printers supply company. The company moved premises in 1956 and the old building was demolished. Amazingly the rent was £2.00 per annum until 1894 and then £30.00 until 1909.
