Lord Nelson

The Lord Nelson was situated at 230 Commercial Lane. This pub was present by 1869 and was rebuilt in its present form in 1892 by architects Bird & Walters.  Into the 1980s it retained a fairly well-preserved, Victorian interior.  But closure came in 2005 and the premises are now in use as a restaurant.  It had been a Charrington’s Brewery pub.
