Nottingham Arms

The Nottingham Arms was situated at 371 Prince Regent Street. This was a Watneys pubs popular with local dockworkers. In the 1960s and 70s it featured live jazz and blues music. It closed after a fire in 1999 and was demolished in 2006 and replaced by flats. The TV and radio presenter Pete Murray, real name Peter Murray James, grew up in the Nottingham Arms in the 1920's and 1930's.
