The Chandelier was situated at 61 Victoria Dock Road. This was a Watney's pub which was closed in the early 1990s and demolished by 2002. It was originally called the Victoria Dock Tavern

This was one of the early opening docker’s pubs. In late 60s, I remember coming off port watch at 06:00 and going in for a pre-breakfast pint in my grubby boiler suit. I guess there are very few or any of this type left.
