The Burford Arms was situated at 11 Burford Road.
It was awarded a licence in 1890, following the surrender of the licence of
the Duke Of Wellington,
Barking. Closed in 1990, it has since been demolished with offices built on
the site. |

A regular pub we visited on Sunday
around 1980 to 1986 due to the great jazz funk dj small out the way pub
which was buzzing with good music always packed Friday nights we would come
out and the place was buzzing with the market trade at the end of the road
real old east London pub but with great music and good staff it was out of
the way off the Main Street so unless you knew about it you wouldn't easily
find it if my recollection serves |
