The Vulcan

The Vulcan was situated at 240 West Ferry Road. This Ind Coope Brewery pub was established by 1882 and was named to reflect the heavy industry prevalent in the area at the time. By 1992 all the industry had gone and the pub closed, becoming a grocer’s store and then a restaurant.
