The St Leonards Arms was situated at 162 St Leonards Road. It was a Truman's pub which closed in 1988 and was converted into flats in 2002.

Michael Page 1953/1970 My parents (Mr & Mrs CS Page) were the landlords of this pub until 1970. They took over the pub in 1952. I was obviously brought up in the pub and have fond memories of it.
Stephen Allen 1948/1952 My Grandfather Thomas Mercer was the Landlord of this pub from the late 30's till Jan 1952. My Mother was his daughter Jean Mercer and My Father was George Allen who's family was also living in the area. I was born in '48 in St Andrews Hospital, just behind Bromley-By-Bow Station. We lived with my Grandparents in the pub till we moved to a pub in Brimsdown, Enfield, Jan 52
