The Lovat Arms was situated at 301 Burdett Road.
This pub was built in 1862 when Burdett Road was first laid out. It was a
Truman’s Brewery pub and was completely destroyed in a 1940 air raid. The
pub was eventually rebuilt by Truman’s in 1968, but closed and was
demolished in around 2004. A block of flats has now
been built on the site. |
