The Enterprise was situated at 145 Three Colt Street. This former Watney’s pub was established by 1880 and closed in 2001. It is now used as a restaurant.
Now converted to an estate agents.

Name Dates Comments Karen Mitchell 1963 My mother and father Lenny and Eileen Mitchell were the publicans of this delightful pub until 1963 when it closed as a pub and then opened as a restaurant , my dad built the beer garden adjoining the property which was derelict land, he kept chickens there for a time ! In its hey day the pub was a good music venue with some good bands playing in there.
