The Wakefield Arms was situated at 30 Park Road.
This pub was established in 1872 and by 1907 was tied to the Savill Brothers Brewery of Stratford.  By 1911 it had been acquired by Truman’s Brewery, in whose ownership it remained until it closed in 2001.  It was demolished in 2003 and replaced by residential accommodation.
